Between 1986 to 2010, I worked on over 50 educational projects for 30 schools. Collaborating with principals, school trustees, teachers and students was rewarding for all concerned. We transformed dilapidated buildings with boring playgrounds, or empty fields, into vibrant and interesting spaces. I used stories from the community to give each school a unique identity. All work featured above was designed, documented and constructed while I was a principal of Architecture FCA.
Projects featured above include: Wellington College; Taikura Rudolf Steiner School; Te Kura-ā-Iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano; Maistone Intermediate; Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Wairarapa and Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Tamaki nui a Rua.
